My classes involve a combination of classical Pilates repertoire and a fusion of dance and yoga inspired movement too. I like clients to leave my classes feeling awakened, strengthened and able to move with more freedom.
I really enjoy the way that Pilates repertoire involves whole body movement integration, and requires a mindful, precise practice in which you get to know and improve your own technique.

Pilates was a natural progression for me after spending many years training in classical ballet. I gained my Advanced Mat Pilates whilst living in London and have been instructing and continuing to learn from others since moving back to NZ in 2011. I also have a BA(Hons) Degree in Dance Education, and have taught most forms of dance over the past 20+ years.
I have two little girls who attend a local primary school in Torbay and enjoy being a mummy when I am not in the studio! I also like to walk and bike.. both of which I am trying to practice more and more with my family and friends.
